Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17762 — from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he ﷺ

Sayyiduna al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib al-Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever leaves a debt or helpless dependants, it is my responsibility, and whoever leaves wealth, it belongs to his heirs. I am the mawla of the one who has no mawla: I free his captive (that is, pay his blood money and the like) and inherit his wealth."
