Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17737 — from Sayyiduna al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad

Sulaym bin Amir (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "I do not say anything good or bad about anyone until I see what his deeds end with, because of something I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." Someone said: "And what did you hear from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" Al-Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The heart of the son of Adam turns over more swiftly than a cooking pot when it comes to a full boil."
