حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ زَبَّانَ بْنِ فَايِدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَعْطَى لِلَّهِ، وَمَنَعَ لِلَّهِ، وَأَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ، وَأَبْغَضَ لِلَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَكْمَلَ إِيمَانَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives for the sake of Allah, withholds for the sake of Allah, loves for the sake of Allah and is displeased for the sake of Allah, has perfected his faith."
