Al-Ala' bin Ziyad al-Adawi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him); he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no supplication by which a servant calls upon Allah that is more beloved to Allah than that he says: 'O Allah, I ask You for well-being (mu'afat) - or he said: safety ('afiyah) - in this world and the Hereafter.'" Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) also narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) "that from cattle he used to take one yearling calf (tabi') for every thirty, and one two-year-old (musinnah) for every forty (as zakah)." The narrator said: They asked him about fewer than thirty cattle, and about honey, and he said: "I have not been ordered anything regarding them."
