حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ النَّهَّاسِ بْنِ قَهْمٍ، ثنا شَدَّادٌ أَبُو عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " سِتٌّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ: مَوْتِي، وَفَتْحُ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ، وَأَنْ يُعْطَى الرَّجُلُ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ فَيَتَسَخَّطَهَا، وَفِتْنَةٌ تُدْخِلُ حَرَّهَا بَيْتَ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ، وَمَوْتٌ يَأْخُذُ فِي النَّاسِ كَقُعَاصِ الْغَنَمِ، وَأَنْ نَغْزُوَ الرُّومَ، وَيَسِيرُونَ بِاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ بَنْدًا تَحْتَ كُلِّ بَنْدٍ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا "
Shaddad Abu Ammar (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are six signs of the Hour: my death; the conquest of Bayt al-Maqdis; that a man will be given a thousand dinars and be displeased with it; a trial whose heat will enter the house of every Muslim; a death that will spread among the people like the sudden death of sheep; and that we will fight the Romans, and they will march with twelve banners, under each banner twelve thousand."
