حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَعْمَرَ عُمْرَى فَهِيَ لَهُ وَلِعَقِبِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives someone an 'umra (a lifelong grant), it belongs to him and to his descendants."
