Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17259 — from the Prophet ﷺ that he said

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَكْرِيُّ، ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نَسِيٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْمَجَرَّةُ الَّتِي فِي السَّمَاءِ عَرَقُ الْأَفْعَى الَّتِي تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ»
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "The galaxy (the Milky Way) in the sky is the sweat of the serpent that is beneath the Throne."
