Muslim bin al-Harith bin Badal al-Tamimi (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17100 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When you
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَسَّانٍ الْكِنَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، حَدَّثَهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا صَلَّيْتَ الصُّبْحَ فَقُلْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُكَلِّمَ أَحَدًا: اللهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ، فَإِنَّكَ إِنْ مُتَّ مِنْ يَوْمِكَ كُتِبَ لَكَ جِوَارٌ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَإِذَا صَلَّيْتَ الْمَغْرِبَ فَقُلْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُكَلِّمَ أَحَدًا مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، فَإِنَّكَ إِنْ مُتَّ مِنْ لَيْلَتِكَ كُتِبَ لَكَ جِوَارٌ مِنَ النَّارِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muslim bin al-Harith bin Badal al-Tamimi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you have prayed the Fajr prayer, say seven times before you speak to anyone: 'O Allah, protect me from the Fire.' For if you die on that day, protection from the Fire will be written for you. And when you have prayed the Maghrib prayer, say the same before you speak to anyone, for if you die that night, protection from the Fire will be written for you."
