Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17002 — he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Woe to the one who tells people false things in order to make them laugh; woe to him, woe to him."
