Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16999 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Woe

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي بَهْزُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَيْلٌ لِلَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ فَيَضْحَكُ بِهِ قَوْمُهُ فَيَكْذِبُ، وَيْلٌ لَهُ وَيْلٌ لَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to the one who, while speaking, tells lies to make his people laugh; woe to him, woe to him."
