حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْفَيْضِ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلِيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever deliberately tells a lie against me, let him take his seat in Hell."
