حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ رَاءَى رَاءَى اللهُ بِهِ، وَمَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ»
Salamah bin Kuhayl relates that it is narrated from Sayyiduna Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever shows off, Allah will expose his showing off, and whoever seeks fame, Allah will make his disgrace famous."
