زيد بن أبي العتاب، عن معاوية
Zayd bin Abi al-Attab from Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16841 — Mu'awiyah stood on the pulpit and said

حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَلْطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَشَّرِ الْمَدِينِيُّ، جَلِيسُ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْعِتَابِ، قَالَ: قَامَ مُعَاوِيَةُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ يُرِدِ اللهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ»
وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ أَدْخَلَتْ فِي رَأْسِهَا شَعْرًا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَعْرِهَا فَإِنَّمَا تُدْخِلُهُ زُورًا»
وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «خَيْرُ نِسَاءِ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ نِسَاءُ قُرَيْشٍ، أَرْعَاهُ عَلَى زَوْجٍ فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ، وَأَحْنَاهُ عَلَى وَلَدٍ فِي صِغَرِهِ»
وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ أَدْخَلَتْ فِي رَأْسِهَا شَعْرًا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَعْرِهَا فَإِنَّمَا تُدْخِلُهُ زُورًا»
وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «خَيْرُ نِسَاءِ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ نِسَاءُ قُرَيْشٍ، أَرْعَاهُ عَلَى زَوْجٍ فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ، وَأَحْنَاهُ عَلَى وَلَدٍ فِي صِغَرِهِ»
Zayd bin Abi al-Attab (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) stood on the pulpit and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When Allah intends good for someone, He grants him understanding of the religion."
And I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Any woman who puts into her head hair other than her own hair puts it in only as a deception."
And I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best of women who have ridden camels are the women of Quraysh: the most careful of them in guarding the wealth of a husband, and the most tender of them towards a child in its infancy."
And I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Any woman who puts into her head hair other than her own hair puts it in only as a deception."
