حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مَرَّةَ الزُّرَقِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَحَبَّ الْأَنْصَارَ فَبِحُبِّي أَحَبَّهُمْ، وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَ الْأَنْصَارَ فَبِبُغْضِي أَبْغَضَهُمْ»
Al-Nu'man bin Murrah al-Zuraqi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever loves the Ansar loves them out of love for me, and whoever hates the Ansar hates them out of hatred for me."
