حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ، قَالَ: تَنَاوَلْتُ قِدْرًا كَانَتْ لَنَا فَاحْتَرَقَتْ يَدِي، فَانْطَلَقَتْ بِي أُمِّي إِلَى رَجُلٍ فِي الْجَبَّانَةِ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: «لَبَّيْكِ وَسَعْدَيْكِ» ، ثُمَّ أَدْنَتْنِي مِنْهُ فَجَعَلَ يَنْفُثُ وَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِكَلَامٍ لَا أَدْرِي مَا هُوَ، فَسَأَلْتُ أُمِّي بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مَا كَانَ يَقُولُ: فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ يَقُولُ: «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»
Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Hatib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I picked up a cooking pot of ours and my hand got burned. My mother took me to a man in al-Jabbanah and said to him: O Messenger of Allah! He said: "Labbayki wa sa'dayki (At your service and at your pleasure)." Then she brought me close to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) began to blow and to say some words that I did not understand. Later I asked my mother what he had been saying, and she told me that he (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: "'Adhhib al-ba's, Rabb al-nas, washfi anta al-Shafi, la shafiya illa ant' (Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind! And heal, You are the Healer; there is no healer except You)."
