Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16426 — I bear witness concerning the Messenger

Sayyiduna Abu al-Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I bear witness concerning the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); I heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The first of people to take shade in the shade of Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who gave respite to someone in hardship until he was able to pay something, or gave him the debt he was claiming as charity, saying: 'You owe me nothing,' purely for the pleasure of Allah, and burns his written record (the document)."
