حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، وَأَيُّوبُ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَة، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِهِ وَهُوَ يُوقِدُ تَحْتَ قِدْرٍ لَهُ، وَالْقَمْلُ يَتَهَافَتُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: «أَيُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّكَ؟» ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «فَاحْلِقْ رَأْسَكَ، وَانْسُكْ أَوْ صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ ثَلَاثَةَ آصُعٍ بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by him while he was kindling a fire under his cooking pot and lice were falling onto his face. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Are your lice troubling you?" He said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shave your head and offer a sacrifice, or fast three days, or feed three sa' to six poor people."
