Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16285 — the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to shave

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَة: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ وَيَنْسُكَ نُسُكًا أَوْ يَصُومَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ يُطْعِمَ فَرَقًا بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to shave his head and offer a sacrifice, or fast three days, or feed one faraq to six poor people.
