Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16217 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who saw

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ رَأَى مَقْتَلَ حَمْزَةَ؟» ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَعَزَّكَ اللهُ، أَنَا رَأَيْتُ مَقْتَلَهُ، فَانْطَلَقَ فَوَقَفَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ فَرَآهُ قَدْ شُقَّ بَطْنُهُ، وَقَدْ مُثِّلَ بِهِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مُثِّلَ بِهِ، فَكَرِهَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهِ، وَوَقَفَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيِ الْقَتْلَى، وَقَالَ: «أَنَا لِشَهِيدٌ عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ لِفُّوهُمْ فِي دِمَائِهِمْ، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مَجْرُوحٌ يُجْرَحُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ إِلَّا جَاءَ جُرْحُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَدْمَى لَوْنُهُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ وَرِيحُهُ رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ، قَدِمُوا أَكْثَرَ الْقَوْمِ قُرْآنًا فَاجْعَلُوهُ فِي اللَّحْدِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Who saw where Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed?" A man said: May Allah honour you, I saw where he was killed. So he set off and went and stood by Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him), and saw that his belly had been split open and his body had been mutilated. He said: O Messenger of Allah! He has been mutilated. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked looking at him, and he stood among the martyrs and said: "I am a witness over these. Wrap them in their own blood, for no one wounded in the path of Allah but his wound will come on the Day of Resurrection flowing with blood; its colour will be the colour of blood and its scent will be the scent of musk. Put forward the one among them who knew the most Qur'an, and place him in the lahd (niche of the grave)."
