Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16179 — , in the time of the Messenger of Allah

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ تَقَاضَى ابْنَ أَبِي حَدْرَدَ دَيْنًا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَارْتَفَعَتْ أَصْوَاتُهُمَا حَتَّى سَمِعَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that, in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he asked Ibn Abi Hadrad in the mosque for a debt that he owed him, and their voices were raised until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) heard them. Then the narrator mentioned the same account as above.
