حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، وَثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، ثَنَا الْحَكَمُ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، قَالَ: مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ يَبِيعُ طَعَامًا فَقَالَ: «يَا صَاحِبَ هَذَا الطَّعَام أَسْفَلُ هَذَا مِثْلُ أَعْلَاهُ؟» فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ غَشَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَلَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ»
Sayyiduna Qays bin Abi Gharazah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who was selling grain, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O owner of this grain, is the bottom of it like the top of it?" He said: Yes. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever deceives the Muslims is not one of us."
