حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ السِّمْسَارُ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ، قَالَا: ثنا سِكِّينُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ رَدِيفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَجَعَلَ الْفَتَى يُلَاحِظُ النِّسَاءَ وَيَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِنَّ، وَيَجْعَلُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْرِفُ وَجْهَهُ بِيَدِهِ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ، وَجَعَلَ الْفَتَى يُلَاحِظُ النِّسَاءَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَيِ ابْنَ أَخٍ، إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ مَنْ مَلَكَ فِيهِ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ وَلِسَانَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The young man began glancing at the women and looking at them, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kept turning his face away with his hand from behind, while the young man kept looking at the women. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "O my nephew! This is a day in which whoever controls his hearing, his sight and his tongue will be forgiven."
