Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15811 — a woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جَرِيحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَ الْحَجَّ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ، لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ الْبَعِيرَ، أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ؟ قَالَ: «حُجِّي عَنْهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: My father has reached the time of Hajj, but he is a very old man and cannot ride a camel; shall I perform Hajj on his behalf? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform Hajj on his behalf."
