حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ، وَمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَقَامُ الرَّجُلِ فِي الصَّفِّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ عِبَادَةِ سِتِّينَ سَنَةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man's standing in the rank in the path of Allah is better than sixty years of worship."
