Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15462 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ حَثْمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلْيَسْأَلِ اللهَ بِهِ فَإِنَّهُ سَيَأْتِي أَقْوَامٌ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ بِهِ»
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever recites the Qur'an, let him ask Allah by it, for soon there will come people who will recite the Qur'an and ask people by it."
