Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1544 — A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and spoke

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: أَتَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَلَّمَتْهُ بِشَيْءٍ، فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنْ جِئْتُ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْكَ، تَعْنِي الْمَوْتَ، قَالَ: «إِنْ لَمْ تَجِدِينِي فَائْتِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ»
Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and spoke to him (peace and blessings be upon him) about something, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) told her to come back. She said: O Messenger of Allah! What if I come and do not find you? (alluding to death). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you do not find me, then go to Abu Bakr."
