Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15418 — My slave has run away, and I have sworn

A man came to Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: My slave has run away, and I have sworn that if I find him, I will cut off his hand. He said: Do not cut off his hand, "for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to stand among us and forbid us mutilation and command giving charity."
