حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَتَوَيْهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ نَجِيحٍ الْبَكْرِيُّ الْعَبْدِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْحُمْرَةَ، فَإِنَّهَا أَحَبُّ الزِّينَةِ إِلَى الشَّيْطَانِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of the colour red, for it is the adornment most beloved to Satan."
