حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيُّ، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا: ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا أَرْكَبُ الْأُرْجُوَانَ، وَلَا أَلْبَسُ الْمُعَصْفَرَ وَالْمُفَرَّحَ بِالْحَرِيرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not ride on a crimson (saddle cloth), nor do I wear garments dyed with safflower or coloured garments trimmed with silk."
