حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ إِلَى امْرَأَتِهِ مِنْ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: حَدِّثْنَا مَا سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ حِينَ حَدِيثٍ فَلَمْ تَدَعْهُ أَوْ قَالَ: فَأَعْصَبَتْهُ فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «نَظَرْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْفُقَرَاءُ، وَنَظَرْتُ فِي النَّارِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءُ»
Abu Raja' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) came to his wife from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and she said: "Tell us what you heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)." He said: "This is not the time for narrating." But she would not let him be, or the narrator said: she pressed him. So he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "I looked into Paradise and saw that most of its inhabitants were the poor, and I looked into the Fire and saw that most of its inhabitants were women."
