Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15140 — Sayyiduna Itban bin Malik used to lead

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mahmud bin al-Rabi' (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Itban bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) used to lead his people in prayer while he was blind, and he said: O Messenger of Allah, there is darkness, rain and flooding, and I am a blind man; so, O Messenger of Allah, pray at some place in my house so that I may take it as a place of prayer. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came and said: "Where would you like me to lead you in prayer?" He pointed to a corner of the house, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed there.
