Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15046 — Umm Yahya was married to him. Then
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ - قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي مَنْ هُوَ أَوْثَقُ مِنِّي - أَنَّهُ كَانَتْ تَحْتَهُ أُمُّ يَحْيَى، فَجَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ امْرَأَةً سَوْدَاءَ زَعَمَتْ أَنَّهَا أَرْضَعَتْنِي وَامْرَأَتِي وَهِيَ كَاذِبَةٌ، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ، ثُمَّ أَعَادَ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَدَعْهَا إِذًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that Umm Yahya was married to him. Then a black woman came and said: I breastfed both of you. So he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! A black woman has claimed that she breastfed me and my wife, though she is lying. He (peace and blessings be upon him) turned away. Then he said it to him again, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then leave her."
