Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14996 — the Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: The one

حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَالَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who recites the Qur'an quietly is like the one who gives charity secretly, and the one who recites the Qur'an aloud is like the one who gives charity openly."
