أبو تميم الجيشاني، عن عقبة بن عامر
Abu Tamim al-Jayshani from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14967 — his sister vowed that she would walk
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ رِشْدِينَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ هَاعَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّ أُخْتَهُ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَمْشِيَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ حَافِيَةً حَاسِرَةً، فَقَالَ رَسُولً اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِتَرْكَبْ وَلْتَلْبَسْ وَلْتَصُمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that his sister vowed that she would walk to the House (of Allah) barefoot and with her head uncovered, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let her ride, cover her head and fast."
