حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْيَحْصَبِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّ أُخْتَهُ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ مَاشِيَةً غَيْرَ مُخْتَمِرَةٍ، فَسَأَلَ عُقْبَةُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «مُرْهَا فَلْتَخْتَمِرْ وَلْتَرْكَبْ وَلْتَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that his sister vowed that she would perform Hajj on foot and with her head uncovered. Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tell her to cover her head, ride, and fast for three days."
