حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ، ثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ الرُّعَيْنِيِّ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ دُخَيْنٍ الْحَجْرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى سُبَيْعَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةَ تَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهَا فَقَالَ: «مَا لَهَا تَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهَا أَجِدُهَا دَاعِرَةً؟» فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ فِي يَمِينِي قُرْحَةً، قَالَ: «وَإِنْ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah eating with her left hand and said: "What is the matter with her that she is eating with her left hand? Do I find her to be mischievous?" She said: "O Messenger of Allah! There is a sore on my right hand." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even so."
