Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14958 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty gathers the first and the last and judges between them and finishes judging between them, the believers will say: 'Our Lord has judged between us; now who will intercede for us with our Lord? Let us go to Adam, for he is our father, and Allah created him with His hand and spoke to him.' So they will go to him and ask him to intercede for them, and he will say: 'Go to Nuh.' They will go to Nuh, and he will direct them to Ibrahim; they will go to Ibrahim, and he will direct them to Musa; they will go to Musa, and he will direct them to Isa. Then they will go to Isa, and he will say: 'I direct you to the unlettered Prophet.' So they will come to me, and Allah Almighty will give me permission to stand, and my gathering will be filled with a fragrance the like of which no one has ever smelled, until I come to my Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, and He will grant me intercession and make for me a light from the hair of my head to the nail of my foot. Then the disbelievers will say: 'These believers have found someone to intercede for them; who will intercede for us?' They will say: 'There is none other than Iblis; it was he who led us astray.' So they will go to him and say: 'The believers have found someone to intercede for them, so now you stand up and intercede for us, for it was you who led us astray.' So he will stand, and his gathering will be filled with a stench the like of which no one has ever smelled. Then he will lead them into Hell, and at that time he will say: 'And Satan will say when the matter has been decided: Indeed, Allah promised you a true promise, and I promised you, then I betrayed you' [Ibrahim: 22]."
