حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُشَّانَةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُكْرِهُوا الْبَنَاتِ فَإِنَّهُنَّ الْمُؤْنِسَاتُ الْغَالِيَاتُ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not dislike daughters, for they are precious and a source of comfort and companionship."
