أبو الخير مرثد بن عبد الله اليزني، عن عقبة
Abu al-Khayr Marthad bin Abdullah al-Yazani from Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14867 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever sees a fault
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا كُرْدُوسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَرَى امْرُؤٌ مِنْ أَخِيهِ عَوْرَةً فَيَسْتُرُهَا إِلَّا سَتَرَهُ اللهُ وَأَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sees a fault in his brother and conceals it, Allah Almighty will conceal his fault and admit him into Paradise."
