Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14817 — he asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، ثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أُخْتِهِ أَنَّهَا نَذَرَتْ أنْ تَمْشِيَ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ لِغَنِيٌّ عَنْ نَذْرِ أُخْتِكَ، لِتَرْكَبْ وَلْتُهْدِ بَدَنَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about his sister, who had vowed that she would walk on foot to the House of Allah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has no need of this vow of your sister; let her ride, and let her sacrifice a camel."
