حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَا ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُوقَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - وَكَانَ قَلِيلَ الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ كَمَا أُمِرَ، وَصَلَّى كَمَا أُمِرَ، خَرَجَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَمَا وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ»
Amr bin Maymun said: I heard Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), and he seldom narrated hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever performs ablution as he has been commanded and prays as he has been commanded comes out of his sins as on the day his mother gave birth to him."
