Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 147 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ الرَّهَاوِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا صَلَّى اللَّيْلَ كُلَّهُ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا صَلَّى النَّهَارَ كُلَّهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever prays the Isha prayer in congregation, it is as though he stood in prayer the whole night; and whoever prays the Fajr prayer in congregation, it is as though he spent the whole day in prayer."
