حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَيُرْفَعَنَّ لِي رِجَالٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَيْتُهُمْ اخْتُلِجُوا دُونِي» فَأَقُولُ: «أَصْحَابِي» فَيُقَالُ: لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some men from my Companions will be brought before me, until, when I see them, they will be pulled away before reaching me (from the Pool). I will say: 'My Companions!' And it will be said: 'You do not know what they innovated after you.'"
