Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14560 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A gift
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ عِصْمَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْهَدِيَّةُ تَذْهَبُ بِالسَّمْعِ وَالْقَلْبِ»
Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A gift takes away the hearing and the heart (of the one who accepts it) (meaning it inclines him towards the giver)."
