اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ عِصْمَةَ قَالَ: جَاءَ نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إنَّا نَمُرُّ فِي هَذِهِ الْأَسْوَاقِ فَنَنْظُرُ إِلَى هَذِهِ الْفَوَاكِهِ فَنَشْتَهِيهَا وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا فَلْسٌ نَشْتَرِي بِهِ فَهَلْ لَنَا فِي ذَلِكَ أَجْرٌ؟ فَقَالَ: «وَهَلِ الْأَجْرُ إِلَّا فِي ذَلِكَ»
Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Some of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! We pass through these markets and see these fruits and desire them, while we do not have a single coin with which to buy them; so is there any reward for us in that? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The reward is precisely in that."
