حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْصَّابُونِيُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الدَّارِعُ قَالَا: ثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ مُضَرَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَإِذَا النَّاسُ يَقُولُونَ: نَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ غَضِبِ اللهِ وَغَضِبِ رَسُولِهِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: مَاذَا قَالُوا؟ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى مِنْبَرِهِ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِ ابْنِهِ فَأَخْرَجَهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَعَنَ اللهُ الْقَائِدَ وَالْمَقُودَ وَيْلٌ لِهَذِهِ يَوْمًا لِهَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ مِنْ فُلَانٍ ذِي الِاسْتَاهِ»
Sayyiduna Asim al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him), the father of Bishr bin Asim al-Laythi, narrated: I entered the mosque of Madinah and saw that people were saying: We seek refuge with Allah from the wrath of Allah and the wrath of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: I asked: Why did they say that? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon on his pulpit when a man stood up, took his son by the hand and led him out of the mosque, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah curse both the one who leads and the one who is led. A day of great ruin will come upon this Ummah because of so-and-so, the one with the large buttocks."
