حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُجَمِّعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْبَدَّاحِ بْنُ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِدْثَانَ مَا قَدِمَ، فَقَالَ: أَيْنْ حَبِيسُ سَيْلٍ؟ قُلْنَا: لَا نَدْرِي، فَمَرَّ بِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ فَقُلْتُ: مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتَ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ حَبِيسِ سَيْلٍ، فَدَعَوْتُ نَعْلِي فَانْحَدَرَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّكَ سَأَلْتَنَا عَنْ حَبِيسِ سَيْلٍ فَقُلْنَا: لَا عَلِمَ لَنَا بِهِ، وَإِنَّهُ مَرَّ بِي هَذَا الرَّجُلُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَزَعَمَ أَنَّ بِهِ أَهْلَهُ، فَسَأَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ: «أَيْنَ أَهْلُكَ؟» فَقَالَ: بِحَبِيسِ سَيْلٍ فَقَالَ: «أَخْرِجْ أَهْلَكَ مِنْهَا، فَقَدْ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَخرُجَ مِنْهُ نَارٌ يُضِيءُ أَعْنَاقَ الْإِبِلِ بِبُصْرَى»
Sayyiduna Asim bin Adi al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: We asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) soon after his arrival in Madinah, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Where is Habis Sayl?" We said: We do not know. Then a man from Banu Sulaym passed by me, and I asked him: Where have you come from? He said: From Habis Sayl. So I put on my sandals and hurried down to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! You asked us about Habis Sayl and we said: We have no knowledge of it; and this man passed by me, so I asked him, and he said that his family is there. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: "Where is your family?" He said: In Habis Sayl. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take your family out of there, for soon a fire will come out of it that will light up the necks of the camels at Busra."
