Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1452 — on that day he stood over Sayyiduna

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that on that day he stood over Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) when he had been martyred. He said: I counted fifty wounds on his body, from spear thrusts and sword strikes, and none of them was on his back.
