حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مُضَرِّسٍ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ: قَدْ أَحْفَيْتُ وَأَنْصَبْتُ وَفَعَلْتُ وَفَعَلْتُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَدْرَكَ جَمْعًا فَوَقَفَ مَع النَّاسِ حَتَّى يُفِيضَ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْحَجَّ، وَمَنْ لَم يُدْرِكْ ذَلِك فَلَا حَجَّ لَهُ»
Sayyiduna Urwah bin Mudarris (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "I am exhausted, I have endured hardship, and I have done such-and-such." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever reaches Muzdalifah and stands with the people until they depart has caught the Hajj; and whoever does not catch that, his Hajj has not been accomplished."
