Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14394 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Eat suhur

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الشَّامِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ مُغَلِّسٍ، ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنِ الْأَحْوَصِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ، وَأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَا: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَسَحَّرُوا مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ» وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: «هُوَ الْغَدَاءُ الْمُبَارَكُ»
Sayyiduna Utbah bin Abd and Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Eat suhur in the last part of the night." And he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "It is the blessed morning meal."
